The Ottawa Association Exchange (OAX) brings together association and nonprofit leaders to share insights, spark collaboration, and strengthen Ottawa’s nonprofit community.
Launched in partnership with OTUS Financial Solutions, OAX was created to fill a gap in the sector — a space where executive directors, CEOs, and emerging leaders can step away from day-to-day operations to connect, learn, and explore new approaches to leadership, advocacy, and governance.
Each event blends learning with connection — helping participants expand their networks, exchange ideas, and engage the next generation of leaders who will shape the future of the nonprofit sector.

This session will explore the connection between personal branding and association branding, and how both influence visibility, credibility, and reputation. From leadership presence to social media to in-person events, branding plays a bigger role than ever in how organizations are seen and remembered.
You’ll hear practical perspectives on what strong branding looks like today and why it matters for associations navigating a crowded and fast-changing environment.
There will also be space for discussion, shared ideas, and reflection on how your own brand and your association’s brand show up in everyday work.
